Rebecca Farrington
Rebecca’s journey began in 2003, when running a successful local restaurant. She said: “We couldn’t get a chef that we were happy with and so I decided I would do it myself. I was hooked immediately and realised just how much I loved cooking and creating menus.”
A couple of years later she went on to do a culinary arts degree, followed by a hospitality management degree. That led to a couple of years teaching alongside running the restaurant. In 2016, she decided that she needed a change of direction and, together with her husband Robin, set up Indulgence Catering.
Robin Turner
Robin ran a successful seafood business in Newlyn that had been in the family since 1949, and he can trace back his family history in the fishing business to the 1800s. He was a fish merchant and auctioneer for over 30 years before teaming up with Rebecca and starting the catering business. Unsurprisingly, seafood and fish cooking is Robin’s speciality and through his connections in the fishing industry he can source the very best local ingredients.
